Okay, so i'm sitting here, just thinking how much i miss babysitting J, L, D, and B.  I babysat them a lot, and now i'm not. So i'm just thinking (again) how much i miss them and how much I feel deprived. *sniff*sniff* anyway. just to let you know that.

ok- this is all i've been able 2 update. but i'll get some more- these r super cute though!!

It's ok not to get it done

So I'm sitting here thinking of all of the things I should get done.

- practice Piano

- read my book, Do Hard Things (by Alex & Brett Harris)

- Write Twinkle a letter back

- straighten the house

- write a new song

- be creative

etc.. etc... etc.... etc..... etc......

But then I remember...

My mom's in the hospital, she's in pain, but she's trying to relax and make the best of her situation.  And here I am, worrying over all the things that could get done. (that's the perfectionist side of me coming out :-) When I should be counting my blessings, and saying.  "I've been going & going, it's ok for me to take a few minutes out of my busy life & meditate on Gods word, or just sit here & relax."  Why am I worried about all these things & not having enough time to do them, when God knows exactly what I can handle & how much I should be doing today.

So Lord,

Please help me to have faith in you, and know that not everything is going to get done today.  And you care enough for me, to not ever give me too much.  Help me to lay my burdens down at your feet and put aside my earthly desires.  To want to honor, love & serve you instead.

And know that everything is going to be ok, as long as I lean on you, and don't rely on myself.

Thank you for always being there.

A thought to ponder

The other day I was feeling sort of discouraged, my flesh was saying that I wasn't getting enough encouragement, that I wasn't getting praised enough, and that I was doing everything wrong, and couldn't get anything right.  I sort of even took that out on my sister, getting frustrated @ her when she did just about any thing wrong.  I now realize that was wrong and I wasn't focusing on the one true thing that really mattered, and I believe God showed that to me in this little saying I found as I went through my notes from church.  Rich said this on Fathers day @ the end in his application time.  He said, "Are you (am I) more aware of where you've (I've) failed, or of how much you've (I've) been forgiven?"  This thought struck me deeply, and I think whenever we're having a pity party, not getting our way, having a "bad day" and you're taking your anger or frustrations out on everybody else.  Your thoughts need to come back to, how much importance am I placing on this issue (you fill in the blank) with how much I should be (many times am not) focusing on how much I've been forgiven?  So after you read this, don't just say, oh that was a nice blog, no.  Put this into action and bring your thoughts back to the One who saved you from eternal punishment.

So here again I find myself in the delightful position of sitting here, while watching a pretty darn cute little boy!! He's SUPER sweet & super cute, and his little sis just went down 4 a nap.  And lately his mom has been faced with a serious problem!! The poop in the toilet stage!!!!  Even though she'll miss these days when he's married, sometimes it feels like her life is coming 2 an end.  Keep up the great work guys!!  I'll b prayin' 4 yu on those, "not so fun" days :-)

hey y'all.  s'up?  nothing much here, we're just babysitting D, and B.  They are absolutely adorable.  Mommy of D and B is trying to potty train D to go on the toilet.  Anyways, he has to sit until he goes "poopey".  kinda gross but that's okay.  hold on, he needs siccors.  Now he wants to play cards with me so this might take a minute.  hold on . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I have absolutely NO IDEA what we are playing, but that's okay.  he's still ADORABLE.  he's giving me all the kings queens and jacks, somehow he thinks they're the same.

Back from CA!

Hey everybody!!!!

so we're back from our vaca. in CA. (hehe, Im a poet & didn't no it- hehe)

we had an AWESOME time- I mean TOTALLY rockin' awesome!!!!

And the beach- well.... where do i even begin-

anyhoo- glad 2 b back with my friends, and it's kinda nice 2 b getting back in2 my normal routine.

well, I missed y'all- it seems like i haven't seen most of u in like- 4EVER!!!! seriously-lol

The checklist of boredom

The top 14 things to be concerned about if you're bored.

#1- you start taking pictures continually of yourself.

#2- you start taking random pictures of the floor, a window, fruit, and/or your hand.

#3- you start mopping the floor.

#4- you start reading that book your mom told you was really good, you just didn't believe her.

#5- you watch the movie you just watched last night, that also you've seen like a BILLION times before!!

Just another day

So it's just another day, we had Sissa over 4 a sleepover last night, and we went 2 Subway 4 lunch today. I ADORE Subway!!!! Now that she went home, lil' sis & I are just here @ Matt & Becky's, and we're playing with Drewby right now. He's TOO cute!!!! I love him 2 death!!!! Matt & Becky went 2 a SUPER nice dinner & Becky invited Shelly as her friend to it. They're SOO cute, we got here & they both were still getting ready. When they left, they both looked SUPER hot/gorgeous!!!! They could b models!!!! seriously!!!! :-) (thank me later becky, hehe) So now, we're just hangin' until "uncle Jesse" comes & picks up Drew 2 sleepover @ his house. Then my parents r gonna pick us up. It seems like we practically live here, lol!! cause we've already been here twice this week & a couple times this month. I'm gonna TOTALLY gap cause i'm excited 'bout something!! Shelly asked lil' sis & I 2 babysit her 2 ADORABLE little kids, Jace & Lincoln! So we're babysitting them in a couple days. I'm SUPER excited!!!! Cause it's our first time babysitting them. Plus Shelly's SUPER cute & I want 2 get 2 know her better, she's SUPER SUPER SUPER nice!!!! anyhoo, i'm probably boring u OUT OF YOUR LITTLE MIND!!!! so i'll leave u with this random quote by Charles Spurgeon.
